The Tennessee Division of State Audit Office announced Tuesday that Kathy Stickel will retire as director after 30 years of service to the state, effective Feb. 27.

Relatedly, and according to a release from the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury (which oversees the state audit division), Tabitha Furlong will be promoted to serve as director of state audit.
