Stinger Medical ties knot with rival

Two mobile clinical workstation manufacturers have joined forces to form one company, ostensibly based in Nashville and employing around 400 folks.

Stinger Medical, a Murfreesboro-based manufacturer of mobile clinical workstations has merged with Canton, Mich.-based Enovate, a similar but slightly larger company. The combined venture has been rechristened Enovate Medical and considers itself the largest provider of mobile workstations in the country. The company will maintain its plant locations in Michigan and Tennessee while the sales forces of both will remain in place.
