Commodore Medical Service, a closely held medical waste transporter led by David Freeman, has acquired three haulers to join the 11 other acquired since 1995.

Based in Nashville, the company provides medical waste hauling to hospitals, nursing homes, and physicians offices in the Southeast, Midwest and Atlantic regions. It has recently bought the medical waste hauling unit of Southern Medical Disposal of Nashville, as well as Bio Med, a hauler in Knoxville. Last year, Commodore acquired Asheville, N.C.-based Med Way.
