Nashville-based HarperCollins Christian Publishing Inc. announced Monday plans to expand WestBow Press, its self-publishing alliance between HarperCollins and Author Solutions, a unit of Penguin Random House.

Author Solutions and Thomas Nelson, a division of HarperCollins, formed WestBow Press in 2009 to offer a publishing alternative to new authors. Seeking to expand on WestBow Press' talent discovery, the group will now provide a self-publishing services division for the Zondervan publishing group, also a division of HarperCollins.
