Downtown music museum lands $1M gift

Officials with the National Museum of African American Music announced Tuesday a joint gift of $1 million from the Regions Foundation and the Mike Curb Foundation.

The gift comes as NMAAM preps to open within a 56,000-square-foot space at Fifth + Broadway in downtown Nashville no later than early 2020.
