Vastland Company has announced an Asian cuisine restaurant is slated for the top level of its Voce Hotel and Residences tower under construction in Midtown.

According to a press release, the restaurant will be call Ikigai (stylized as “IKIGAI”) and will specialize in sushi. The name recognizes the Japanese philosophy of “something that makes life worth living." This will be the first Ikigai (New York City offers an Ikigai that will not be affiliated with the Nashville restaurant).
