Dueling piano bar set for Second Avenue

Arizona-based Amplified Hospitality Group will team with various partners to operate Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar in a downtown space last home to B.B. King’s Blues Club.

A release does not note an opening date or terms of the lease with building owner Little Big Properties LLC, which paid $35 million for the property in 2021, according to Metro records (read here). The main address of the structure is 150 Second Ave. N., with Pete’s to offer an address of 152 Second Ave. S. The LLC is affiliated with Jeffrey Welk, a relative of the late television personality and big band conductor Lawrence Welk.
