Spencer Fane’s Nashville office has announced the addition of a former civil chief with the U.S. Attorney General’s Office as of counsel.

Anica Jones joins the firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice group, following more than two decades of trial experience in both state and federal capacities. In the of counsel role, Jones will advise businesses and individuals on disputes, government investigations, and regulatory challenges. In her role as Chief of the Civil Division at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee, she supervised civil actions involving the federal government, health care fraud investigations, matters related to the False Claims Act, civil rights, torts, constitutional claims, employment discrimination, immigration, bankruptcy and asset forfeiture.
