Genesco posts strong Q4 sales, beats analyst expectations

Genesco Inc. has maintained solid stock price stability after having recently reported fourth-quarter and year-end sales figures that beat analyst estimates, highlighted by momentum of the footwear company’s Journey’s brand.

Despite broader market volatility that has since pushed Genesco stock value downward since the earnings report, the company has seen less negative impact on its shares than has been the case with many of the area's publicly traded companies, according to Yahoo Finance.
