Old National Bancorp, based in Evansville, Ind., announced Thursday a plan to buy Nashville's CapStar Financial Holdings in an all-stock deal valued at $344.4 million.

Old National entered the Nashville market last year with the establishment of a branch of its 1834 Wealth team. Old National also recently added a commercial banking and lending presence in Nashville.
