Oracle seeks zoning update for River North site

Oracle Inc. will request that Metro update its zoning related to the form and function of its future East Bank campus.

A document submitted to the Metro Planning Department notes the Austin-based tech giant is seeking to have the planning commission amend the River North Urban Design Overlay for various properties located on Cowan Street, Cowan Court and Waterside Drive. Oracle is seeking a new subdistrict for the 70.84 acres (which are zoned mixed-use intensive), though further details are unclear.
