Lipscomb University has paid about $1.9 million for a large property located to the immediate west of its campus, according to a Davidson County Register of Deeds document.

With an address of 4101 Belmont Blvd., the 0.96-acre Green Hills property offers a large residential building that had seemingly been owned by Nashville's Church family since at least 1956, Metro records show. Realtor.com notes the home was constructed in 1935.
