Former Sounds pitcher named head coach at Loretto

Former Nashville Sounds pitcher and MTSU alum Zac Curtis has been named the new head baseball coach at Loretto High School.

School officials announced Friday that Curtis takes over for the recently retired Gary Lamm, who led the program for the last 26 years. He compiled a 438-329 record at Loretto and led the Mustangs to four consecutive TSSAA state tournament appearances the last four years before calling it a career.
