Nashville SC captain Walker Zimmerman is in concussion protocol following the kick to the head he suffered in last Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Charlotte FC.

NSC coach B.J. Callaghan said Thursday the team will further evaluate Zimmerman, a central defender, on Friday to see if he will be able to play in Saturday’s game against Real Salt Lake at Geodis Park.
