Wife of prominent businessman arrested for his strangulation murder

Metro Police detectives from the West Precinct this morning arrested Kelley Elizabeth Cannon for the strangulation murder of her estranged husband, James Cannon, who was found dead in a closet of his home.

Scientific analysis performed by the TBI Crime Laboratory on evidence collected at James Cannon's 710 Bowling Ave. home implicates Kelly Cannon, 41, in the homicide, police said in a press release. She was arrested without incident this morning at her mother's residence on Redbud Drive.
