Odyssey buys California company

Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare has expanded into its eighth state with the acquisition of a Southern California venture providing various addiction and mental health treatments.

Terms of Brentwood-based Odyssey’s acquisition of Clearview Treatment Programs aren’t being disclosed. Founded in 2000, Clearview now runs a range of residential and outpatient programs in Venice Beach and employs about 50 people. The deal grows to 21 Odyssey’s network of behavioral health facilities; combined, they have 358 beds.
