Tucker Hume scored two goals and made sure that Nashville SC avoided the fate suffered by a number of other professional clubs Wednesday in the second round of the U.S. Open Cup.

Nashville SC advanced with a 2-0 victory over Inter Nashville FC, an amateur club in the Premier Development League. It was the first Open Cup match ever for the expansion United Soccer League franchise.
