Most Powerful Women: Natalie Dickson

Natalie Dickson knew from the age of 4 that she wanted to be part of the medical field. She sat in front of her family’s shared television and watched the 1970s series Marcus Welby, M.D. on the only available channel. She was inspired by the fictional Welby, a family doctor known for his kindly bedside manner. 

Dickson, now a physician, has worked for more than 25 years at Tennessee Oncology, starting as a medical oncologist and hematologist, and later serving as chief medical officer and chief strategy officer before being named president and CEO in 2024. Her transition came at a key time for the company, as it opened a new flagship facility in Midtown in 2025.
