Diamond Coach bankruptcy blames pandemic, diverted millions

A Nashville-based luxury coach company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, claiming in multiple simultaneous court proceedings that its financial troubles are jointly to blame on the pandemic’s gutting of the concert touring industry and the firm’s former CEO misdirecting millions of dollars while his wife, the owner of the company, was away caring for her sick father.

Diamond Coach filed for protection from its creditors in Nashville bankruptcy court earlier this month, but the legal disputes between Kylee Ervin and her husband Justin Ward date back to June, when he was fired as CEO and when Ervin initiated legal action against him. Ward later filed for divorce from Ervin.
