The evidence could hardly be more damaging. In recordings played in court earlier today at his conspiracy trial, Perry March could be clearly heard speaking with fellow inmate Russell Nathaniel Farris about a plan for Farris to murder his in-laws, Lawrence and Carolyn Levine.

Yesterday, defense attorney Bill Massey analyzed the transcripts of those tapes, recorded by Farris in cooperation with police, in excruciating detail during a more than three-hour cross examination of Farris. This morning, the jury at Davidson County Criminal Court listened to the tapes for themselves.
