Early winter start eyed for Vanderbilt Children's Hospital expansion

Vanderbilt University Medical Center officials are targeting an early winter construction start on and have released a detailed image for the expansion of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

VUMC has enlisted New York-based Blair + MUI Architects to handle design of what will be a four-story addition to the existing structure. Donald Blair, a firm partner, has served as planning architect for many of VU's patient care and research facilities.
