Turns out Derek Dooley and Cuonzo Martin had something of a mutual admiration society when each worked at the University of Tennessee.

It makes sense. After all, neither engendered much appreciation from the base so they had to look for support wherever they could find it. Dooley was practically eviscerated during his three seasons as football coach (2010-12), when the Volunteers went 15-21 and made just one bowl appearance. He was fired with one game remaining in the 2012 season.
