The debate won’t seem to go away.

That leads some to believe that the University of Tennessee eventually will bring back the Lady Vols nickname for all of its women’s sports programs. It was removed from all except women’s basketball nearly three years ago (all other teams are simply Volunteers) as part of the elimination of separate men’s and women’s athletics departments.
