Craft beer business owner eyes food truck court

The owner of Farmers Market-based craft beer bar and growler fill station The Picnic Tap is looking to establish a permanent presence at Food Truck City in The Nations.

Eric Woodard, who opened The Picnic Tap in October 2014, said his business will be operational at the new food court starting Saturday, March 31 (the grand opening of the newish facility that has an address of 5001 Louisiana Ave.). Woodard said The Picnic Tap will temporarily operate as a licensed caterer providing beer while he continues to finalize details for a more permanent home at the location.
