Tennessee State University

Tennessee State University will soon see advancements in AI-focused research and career preparation for students following a $3 million federal grant awarded to the college of engineering and TSU Smart Innovation Technology Center.

The National Science Foundation grant will aid in a five-year initiative dubbed by TSU as the “Implementation Project: Integrating Artificial Intelligence and Research-Based Experiential Learning into STEM Curriculum to Enhance Education and Student Retention,” which will run from 2026 to 2031.
