Veteran Bridgestone leader to step down

Bridgestone Corp. announced Monday that company veteran Paolo Ferrari is leaving his multiple senior-level positions.

According to a release, and effective Oct. 31, Ferrari will depart as joint global chief operating officer, global chief digital transformation officer, and executive officer of Bridgestone Corp.; as chief executive officer, Bridgestone West; as executive chairman and group president, Bridgestone Americas; and as chair of the Bridgestone Europe, Middle East and Africa (BSEMEA) Supervisory Board. He primarily has worked in Nashville, the headquarters of Bridgestone Americas.
