Price decides to opt out of 2020 MLB season

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher and former Vanderbilt standout David Price joined a rising number of Major League Baseball players who are electing to sit out the abbreviated 2020 season amid growing concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Price joins fellow players Felix Hernandez (Atlanta Braves), Mike Leake (Arizona Diamondbacks), Ryan Zimmerman (Washington Nationals) and Ian Desmond (Colorado Rockies), among others, who had already stated they will skip the 60-game season.
