New executive director of Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society has named Debbie Thomas the new executive director of its operations in Nashville.

Thomas first became involved in the American Cancer Society in the spring of 2008, when she worked as a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer recruiter. She then became a community representative and later was promoted to Nashville’s associate executive director. Her latest promotion has her taking the place of Karen Rudzinski.
