Efforts to undertake a multi-building apartment development to be located near the Cumberland River in North Davidson County — and the status for which had remained unclear after a rezoning was approved for the project more than four years ago — are moving forward.

A document submitted to the Metro Planning Department notes Nashville-based real estate company Elmington Capital Group (ECG) seeks 191 apartment units in three buildings for a segment of the roughly 26.4-acre site, which has a main address of 869 W. Trinity Lane.
