A West End Avenue property located near Interstate 440 and previously housing a convenience market has sold for $2.1 million with a retail business being eyed by the owners of two local Indian food businesses.

According to a Davidson County Register of Deeds document, the new owner of the roughly 3,025-square-foot retail building is Karoli Properties LLC. The LLC is affiliated with family members (including Mayur Patel) who own Taj Indian Restaurant and the Nashville location (Nolensville Road) of Chicago-based Asian grocery store chain Patel Brothers.
