Nashville-based real estate investors Byran Fort and Taylor Preston have acquired downtown high-rise Philips Plaza for $17 million — $94.5 million less than the figure for which the property last changed ownership hands not quite six years ago.

According to Davidson County Register of Deeds document, the new owner is 414 Union Partners, which includes Fort and Preston. The two have landed a loan valued at $16,075,000, a separate document notes.
