As the Post reported in November 2022, Brentwood-based development company GBT Realty reduced the height of the tower by about 16 percent. Previously, GBT envisioned The Sinclair to rise about 375 feet. According to a final site plan document submitted to Metro, which includes updated renderings, the future tower now is designed to rise about 310 feet, approximately 60 feet lower than had been eyed. A Vanderbilt spokesperson told the Vanderbilt Hustler that the school had no role in the height reduction.
