A 16-story mixed-use tower is being eyed for the North Gulch, with the building to offer both extended stay hotel units and time-share residences.

A document submitted to the Metro Planning Department notes the tower, to rise on 0.79 acres at 1213 Grundy St., will also include ground-level retail and restaurant space.
