Local companies to undertake $2.2B development in Alabama

Nashville-based Rochford Realty & Construction Co. Inc. and Land Innovations LLC of Brentwood announced Friday plans for a massive mixed-use project in North Alabama — with the development to potentially carry a price tag of $2.2 billion and require at least 20 years to unfold.

According to a release, the project will be undertaken on about 411 acres in Mooresville (see here), which sits between Huntsville (about 15 miles to the east) and Decatur, and at the intersection of Interstate 65 and Interstate 565.
