The Nashville region continues to be a buyer’s market for residential real estate, with excess inventory and more time than in the past to finalize a deal benefitting those looking to purchase.

According to a Greater Nashville Realtors press release, the area saw 2,885 homes sold in September, a 0.14 percent increase compared to the 2,881 mark of the same month in 2025.
