Hermitage Hotel set for renovation

The Hermitage Hotel’s venerable Capitol Grille and Oak Bar are slated for updates.

According to a Metro Codes Department-issued permit, the work also will include renovation of the women’s restroom, kitchen and prep kitchen. Valued at $310,000, the permit does not reference the hotel's famous art deco style men’s room. Nashville-based R.C. Mathews Contractor will handle the build-out. GHP, also locally based, is the architect.
