Nashville-based Giarratana is now eyeing a 2027 start of a residential tower long planned for a small parcel located downtown adjacent to the Tennessee State University Avon Williams Campus building.

Originally, the development company had eyed a late 2023 construction start on the 33-story, 248-unit tower, to rise on a 0.21-acre postage-stamp-esque site at 901 Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Blvd. If standing today, the 370-foot skyscraper would rank as Nashville’s 23rd tallest building.
