A Chestnut Hill property is being eyed for a mixed-use building to offer residences and retail space.

The building will be constructed on three parcels with addresses of 1122, 1124 and 1126 Third Ave. S. near Wedgewood-Houston. The site is located adjacent to the old-school and bricked-skinned Layman Drug Building (at 1128 Third Ave. S.) and across the street from the building housing percussion retailer Fork’s Drum Closet.
