Developer Charles Hawkins dies

Prominent local real estate developer Charles Hawkins died Wednesday, June 16. Hawkins discovered in April he had a rare form of cancer called Burkitt’s Lymphoma.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and again on Sunday, June 20 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Woodmont Christian Church, 3601 Hillsboro Road.
