Cracker Barrel Old Country Store stock will seek to rebound Thursday after rough-and-tumble consecutive trading days that, in part, might represent the aftereffects of a sluggish August for chain restaurants in general.

At the end of the Wednesday session, Cracker Barrel shares (Nasdaq: CBRL) were price at $43.22, down 4.27 percent (a drop of $1.93 per share). Share volume of about 975,000 was higher than the average of roughly 911,000, according to Yahoo Finance.
