The Tennessee Bar Association has named Knoxville lawyer Heidi Barcus as the 145th president of the Nashville-based group.

Following her swearing in during the TBA annual convention earlier this month, Barcus announced initiatives focused on member engagement as well as helping first generation lawyers, late career lawyers and those who fail the bar the first time they take it. She will serve as president for one year until June 2026.
