The search for a new football coach apparently will take a little longer than Austin Peay officials hoped.

Yahoo Sports reported Sunday that Tee Martin rejected an opportunity to lead the Governors. National college football reporter Pete Thamel said the school “had strong interest” in the former University of Tennessee quarterback.
