TDOT selects three entities for East Bank road, interstate work

The Tennessee Department of Transportation has released a list of three finalists to design and construct an extension of Marine Drive and to update a segment of Interstate 24 related to the effort to connect East Nashville to the East Bank.

The effort — which will include the potential building of an overpass for a segment of Interstate 24 — is related to the state’s pledge to Oracle Corp., which will eventually anchor the East Bank's River North section with a multi-building campus overlooking the Cumberland River.
