Metro Nashville is moving forward with $40.2 million in funding for affordable housing initiatives.

A component of the city’s Barnes Housing Trust Fund, the grants will go to 14 local nonprofit organizations spearheading the development and rehabilitation of 1,106 affordable homes. This ranks as the most residences supported through a single round of Barnes funding, according to Metro.
