Former presidential candidate endorses Cooper challenger

Author Marianne Williamson this week endorsed Keeda Haynes, the former public defender mounting a Democratic primary challenge of U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper.

Williamson, who rose to prominence as Oprah Winfrey’s “spiritual adviser,” ended her yearlong presidential bid in January and later endorsed Bernie Sanders.
