Alcorn out at Comptroller's office before starting

Less than a week after it was announced that M.S. "Susie" Alcorn would be joining the office of State Comptroller Justin Wilson, word has come that she won't be taking the job of Executive Assistant to the Comptroller after all.

Wilson said today that Alcorn "was unable to establish a suitable transition from a contract with an out-of-state client." Alcorn has served as a lobbyist for BlueCross/BlueShield, though it was not specified by the Comptroller's office if that is the "out-of-state" client that they were referring to.
