Chestnut Hill’s Layman Drug Company Building — one of only a handful of fully-restored late-1800s commercial brick buildings located outside downtown Nashville — has sold for $3.1 million.

Located at 1128 Third Ave. S. and sitting on 0.10 acres, the two-story building offers about 3,495 square feet. It is sited one-half block east of the structure housing percussion instrument retailer Fork's Drum Closet. Wedgewood-Houston is located to the immediate southwest.
