National Renal team launches fertility venture

Local health care entrepreneur Joe Cashia has launched a new venture that will partner with doctors who specialize in women's health and fertility issues.

Cashia, who built National Renal Alliance before selling it in late 2008, said the launch of Vivere Health builds on his experiences in the dialysis sector. He has partnered with Houston doctors Jimmy Gill and Gus Haddad to buy Piney Point Surgical Center and Houston Fertility Laboratory in Houston and plans to open another facility in Austin late this year.
