McClain Towery’s first project was a small residential deal in Hillsboro Village and involved his long-time friend and business partner Elliott Kyle.

“We bought it off a bank’s balance sheet, which was unsettling given that it meant someone else lost the property,” he recalls. “Luckily, it worked out pretty well.”
