In August 2025, Belmont’s College of Entertainment and Music Business officially completed phase one of its expansion onto Music Row, welcoming students into the newly renovated historic building once home to Buddy Lee Attractions and Capitol Records. The two buildings on the site were connected in May, making this fall the first semester in which students can use all of the purpose-built educational environment.

Like many of the buildings on Music Row, you’ll find Mike Curb’s name emblazoned on the side. The longtime Belmont benefactor’s goal was to keep the site connected to music, so the university and Nashville-based architecture and design firm Earl Swensson Associates (ESa) spent years developing and fine-tuning a hands-on learning atmosphere.
